About

KIMBERLY PEARSON

Viva La Dulcinea is my outlet of creativity that covers everything from travel and fashion to Jesus and everyday life. I hope to encourage others to live a life that is full of purpose with a genuine positive outlook. If you need a little sunshine and happy escape, stick around. This blog is my way of encouraging you dear reader, to look on the bright side of things and be a light to everyone you meet. In a world where you can be anything, be kind.  Be obsessively grateful. And be yourself, bravely.

MY STORY

So who created this little slice of adventure? I'm glad you asked, internet pal! Viva la Dulcinea is my platform of documenting thoughts, dreams, adventures, and spreading some much needed joy of Jesus in this world. I am a 20-something Apostolic Pentecostal with visions larger than life. A girl simply with a penchant for traveling this great big world (everywhere is on my list). Adventure-seeker is my middle name. Actually it's Dulcinea, and yes it came from Miguel de Cervantes' book. I have a cat baby named Lavinia, who loves belly rubs and treats almost as much as I love online shopping and adventures. I am from the beautiful state of North Carolina, where the humidity always works against your hair, but the sweet tea keeps you around.
I started Viva la Dulcinea in February of 2015 as a creative outlet for myself for documenting snippets of my life. I knew I wanted to create something, but I wasn’t entirely sure of what that “something” was. So without too much hesitation, I signed up for Blogger and wrote my first blog post. I still have had no idea what I was doing, but I have a passion to learn and try new things. As I am constantly striving for bettering myself and accomplishing small victories (which tend to lead to greater victories), I hope you will join me on this little journey called life.
Whether you're a new follower or have been keeping up with my blog from the start, thank you SO much for reading and supporting Viva la Dulcinea. Have a lovely day!

xoxo,
