Little Letters: Just June Moments

Dear Minot, North Dakota, you were a lovely experience. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I got to see the rolling landscape and at times I really thought I was in the midst of a desktop wallpaper, where all you can see is green grass and blue skies. We had a great variety of adventures and made new friends.

Dear Preston Pearson, you are my favorite person on planet Earth, and spending time with you was incredible. Let's do another adventure soon. 

Dear Evelin, Emily, and Alex, I am SO incredibly proud of you all and happy that I got to celebrate your high school graduations with you. You are awesome and smart young people, and I am excited to see what you do in the next few years. Let God guide your footsteps and you shall not fall. You can do ALL things with God on your side! Don't forget that.

Dear Blueberry & Peach Cobbler Addiction, this is so bad, but I love you. And now that I've had you with ice cream I can't stop loving you.

Fourth of July Modest Outfit Inspo

THE FOURTH OF JULY IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE HOLIDAYS, AND IT’S ALMOST HERE!

Whether you’re spending the holiday at the lake or your backyard, it’s fun to feel festive for the day, and what better way to do that than by playing dress up?

For any of you ladies needing some outfit inspiration for the upcoming cookouts and family get-togethers you came to the right place. I always like incorporating patterns or textures into my outfits. To start off with I wore a simple red pencil dress (this one was handcrafted, but you can find a similar one here). Other super cute fourth appropriate Dainty Jewell’s dresses include The Highlands Dress and the Sidewalk Stroll Dress.

I paired my dress with a navy and cream thin striped belt just for a touch of navy and a bit of a nautical look. This complemented my Seychelles sailboat espadrille wedges perfectly. These shoes are so fun to wear and they are definitely a statement piece on their own. Wedges are the way to go when you know you’re going to be outside on grass or unpaved terrain and they are so comfortable! Some other cute espadrilles I’ve been eyeing include these shiny ones and these pop-of-color ones. Lastly, I paired my small leather Dooney & Bourke bag with this outfit as a solid/neutral piece. I love this little bags classic shape, it is one of my favorite thrift finds to date. What will you be wearing this fourth of July?
